Project Details

Enabling works are now underway for Towcester Park, a 34.5-hectare high-quality employment park north of the A43 at Towcester, marking a major milestone for IM Properties’ latest logistics and industrial development. The scheme will deliver multiple units across several zones, creating a cohesive business environment that integrates sensitively into its rural surroundings while supporting significant new employment opportunities. Scheduled to generate over 1,400 new jobs, the park is strategically positioned near major transport corridors, maximising accessibility for national distribution and local businesses.

BE Design is playing a central role in bringing the project forward, leading the design and technical delivery of the site’s infrastructure. The team has provided full earthworks design and specification, site level modelling, and spatial coordination to address the 7-metre level difference across the site, using carefully balanced cut-and-fill strategies to optimise visual impact, rooflines and operational performance across the development.

As part of its highways and civil engineering scope, BE Design has designed the new roundabout connecting the site to the A43 under Section 278 works, alongside tender-stage design for the internal access road network. The practice has also delivered a comprehensive Flood Risk Assessment and tender design for site-wide drainage, ensuring robust water management, climate resilience and compliance with current standards.

Beyond the core technical design, BE Design continues to advise the client throughout delivery, helping to embed sustainability, accessibility and long-term resilience across every phase. Together, these elements form the backbone of a well-connected, landscape-led employment park that combines high-quality logistics and industrial space with meaningful public realm, greenspace and future job creation for the region.
