BE Design has a team of engineers able to work with clients on the design of both private and adoptable highway solutions. We can provide a comprehensive service to guide clients through the process of providing access to a site from the public highway, whether this is access to serve a single unit or new development road. We can work with the client and wider design team to provide advice from the initial feasibility right through to the construction stage.

Our team has experience in the design of Section 38/278 works and can help in guiding you through the process covering aspects of the design and approval.

We can advise on and assist in procurement of surveys to supplement the design and approval process, such as topographical surveys, traffic speed surveys, drainage CCTV, pavement surveys and utility surveys.

We can undertake the design of both new highways and improvement schemes from simple junction provision to new roundabouts and estate roads for new developments. Our design services cover the carriageway alignment, pavement construction, foul and surface water drainage, adoptable highway signage, and road markings. We are able to secure and manage specialist design services to cover street lighting design, traffic signals design and road safety audits to prepare a full design pack for technical submission.

We can liaise with the Highway Authority to seek technical approval for the highway work and support the client is obtaining any Section 38/278 legal agreement from the Highway Authority to enable construction delivery.

PEPSI-CO

At 50km South of Warsaw, Poland, Pepsi-co commissioned a new 60,000m2 distribution centre. Pepsi-co use the facility to distribute around the Warsaw area engaging with new motorway links to transport hubs.

At 33,000m2, the Airbus Logistics centre located in the Toledo town of Illescas, Spain, is the further expansion of the local Airbus facilities and the company’s commitment to Spain.

LAST MILE LOGISTICS

Hoppegarten, Berlin, Germany, was selected as the location for a 13,000m2 last mile, fast-sorting facility.
