Equation are extending their development of industrial units along the Lanson Roberts Way, with a large single cross docking unit that will have a GIA of 590,000 square feet. It is anticipated that the Contractor currently working on the adjacent plot will commence earthworks this month. Given the local ground conditions, the main unit will be piled to support the required FFL for drainage requirements, with eth external yards having ground improvement by way of rigid inclusions and a load transfer matt beneath the concrete yards. The site lies immediately adjacent to the main Network Rail line that passes the site dropping it to a tunnel beneath the River Severn. Hence, liaison with the Network Rail team is critical.
