We are providing civil and structural engineering and on-site highways services in the creation of a new designer outlet village offering luxury brands alongside cafes, restaurants and public spaces.

Planning permission has been granted for the £100m scheme, with work set to begin on site later in 2020 to create a state-of-the-art retail destination intended to transform the shopping and leisure experience. Sustainability has also been very important during the design process, targeting a BREEAM accreditation of “Very Good”.

The 270,000 sq ft development will sit within a 36-acre section of land just south of Grantham, next to the new/proposed Southern Relief Road. The first phase of work will consist of 89 units, with phase two adding a further 48 units.

To ensure the outlet’s position as a premium destination, the plans also include 1,800 parking spaces, as well as a direct link onto the new Southern Relief Road for easy access from the A1, as well as a bus service to connect the railway station and town centre.

The outlet has been designed to complement the existing town centre retail offering and will attract up to 3.6 million visitors per year and create 1,500 jobs for the area.
