Project Details

BE worked in collaboration with BGCL on the revival of a derelict department store in Brighton, to create the international King’s College.

The new facility is set over four floors and includes a cafeteria, teaching spaces, ancillary facilities and 60 rooms for live-in students, equipped with en-suite bathrooms on the second floor.

We provided all structural and civil engineering works including drainage, piling and structural steelwork design for the development on the heavily constrained town centre site.

The college offers language courses, GCSE and A Level courses, and other pre-university preparation programmes for international students.
