MIPIM madness is over for another year…
This year marked BE Design’s fifth MIPIM (12 – 15 March 2019) and the world’s largest property expo was bigger and better than ever, with 25,000 delegates from 100 countries descending upon Cannes for four days of meetings, seminars and presentations discussing the property and construction industry.
Bryan Fish, our new associate based in Madrid, also attended with us for the first time this year and it provided him with a fantastic opportunity to meet with our colleagues, clients and friends across Europe.
We spent the week hearing from a variety of panels explore some of the industry’s hot topics including: recycling and repurposing buildings; robotic construction; proptech and regeneration. With Brexit on the horizon, it’s more crucial than ever that the industry comes together to make best use of technology and nurture a productive, skilled and sustainable workforce.
We were proud to sponsor Sheffield City Region this year. It was fantastic to be part of such a vibrant and exciting team, promoting a series of regeneration projects breaking ground in and around the city – including the work we’ve completed in Sheffield, transforming a former steelworks into a modern distribution logistics facility.
We’re also delighted to see 15 of our schemes now progressing in Spain, Italy and Germany and attending events like MIPIM helps us to strengthen and maintain our strong relationships in Europe.
MIPIM was busier than ever this year, with catch ups and meetings scheduled every day and it was fantastic to make new connections – as well as catch up with our long-standing relationships.
