Following three years with us as Associate Director Dian Coleman has been promoted to Director and will be working closely with directors Anna, Simon and Stephen on business growth. He will also be working on consolidating our internal processes and ensuring our team is equipped with the training and technology they need to continually develop and produce quality output for our clients.
Dian said: “BE Design is a really special place to work, so I’m really pleased to be stepping into this new role within the family. The culture we have in the business is really unique; we don’t just treat our colleagues as part of the BE Design family, we have the same attitude towards our relationships with clients and this is something that’s really unique in the market.
“I’m currently overseeing the final phase of Logistics North in Bolton. This is a project I’ve been working on since joining the BE Design family three years ago – though the team has been involved in the project for even longer than that.
“As well as this, I’m currently leading on a number of projects in the Sheffield region, and having attended university in Sheffield it’s really great to be helping to develop this area. This includes the next phase of work at Bessemer Park, a strategic location for PLP, which is currently going through the planning process following the completion of phase one in 2019.
“I’m also really looking forward to our work with Harworth Group PLC to create Olive Lane, a new mixed-use scheme in Rotherham that will combine residential, retail and commercial development to create a new community hub close to the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP). It’s going to be fantastic to get involved with such transformational projects alongside my new director responsibilities, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds for me at BE Design.”
As well as Dian’s promotion, we are pleased to announce a number of other promotions within the BE Design family. Mike Stacey has been promoted to Principal Engineer, and Dan Edwards and Tim Wallis have both been promoted to Principal Engineering Coordinators. And lastly, following the completion of their BTECs earlier this year, Sophie Hayes and Will Turner have been promoted to BIM Technicians.
