We’re delighted to welcome Darcy Kitson-Boyce and Seb Newell to the BE Design family as we expand our Geo-environmental department.
Darcy, our Director of Geo-environmental, leads the team in delivering robust technical solutions to complex ground engineering challenges. With over 15 years’ experience spanning commercial, industrial, education, leisure and residential schemes, Darcy is recognised for his expertise in geotechnical risk assessment, earthworks design and contaminated land management. A Chartered Environmentalist and Qualified Person under CL:AIRE’s DoW CoP, Darcy has a proven track record in helping clients navigate ground risk with clarity and confidence. His commitment to brownfield regeneration and sustainable development, alongside his role as a mentor for the Institution of Environmental Sciences, reflects both his technical leadership and industry advocacy.
Seb strengthens the team with hands-on expertise across a diverse range of sites, from RAF bases to petrol stations. He has delivered contamination risk assessments, remedial strategies, coal mining legacy assessments and geotechnical advice to support both planning and detailed design stages. He also has extensive experience managing ground investigations to inform sustainable, risk-aware development.
Together, Darcy and Seb bring outstanding technical depth to BE Design, enabling us to provide clients with market-leading geo-environmental insight and solutions.
