About

Director Darcy leads the geo-environmental department and is responsible for delivering technical solutions to all manner of ground engineering problems, with a particular emphasis on helping clients understand and manage ground risks.

With a career spanning over fifteen years, Darcy has developed a wealth of experience delivering technical input on commercial, industrial, education, leisure and residential schemes. Using extensive knowledge of geotechnical risk assessment, earthworks design and contaminated land management, Darcy specialises in dissecting and scrutinising layers of complex information to provide an expert overview on all ground-related matters.

As a Chartered Environmentalist and Qualified Person under CL:AIRE’s Definition of Waste Code of Practice for Waste Soils, Darcy is committed to brownfield regeneration and sustainable development. He also volunteers as a mentor for The Institution of Environmental Sciences.

Away from the office, Darcy loves outdoor adventures with his family and heading into the mountains whenever he can, whether hiking over the Lakeland fells or scaling the Atlas Mountains.
