Our junior engineers recently visited one of our live projects in Wigan, to gain firsthand experience of the floor slab construction process. Observing how careful sequencing, coordination, and teamwork bring large-scale industrial spaces to life.
A big thank you to the site engineer, who generously shared his knowledge and walked our team through the critical stages of casting, curing, and reinforcement layout.
Our team had the opportunity to watch the gas membrane team installation in action – working seamlessly alongside the concrete pour crew to lay, weld, and seal the membrane ahead of the next concrete batch.
These sessions are more than site visits; they’re part of BE Design’s ongoing investment in continuous learning and knowledge sharing, ensuring our teams understand construction processes not just in theory, but in practice.
